Artist’s Statement

I have created art all my life, but rediscovered my passion for painting
after I retired as an art therapist in 2020.
In recent years my focus has been on landscape painting. I enjoy traveling around
Ontario and taking photos with my trusty iPhone, which are then uploaded onto
my iPad so that I have large images to work with.
I strive for an impressionistic style while exploring colour.

About the Artist

I have taken art classes throughout my life in many venues including The Dundas
Valley School of Art, Western University (while obtaining my graduate diploma in
Art Therapy) as well as the Central Ontario Art Association and workshops offered
through various art organizations.
I have displayed and sold my art in many shows and galleries throughout Ontario.
Currently I am a member of the Lambeth Art Association. I show and sell my work
at the LAA Annual Show, the Westland Gallery Square Foot Show in London, ON,
and the Oxtongue Craft Cabin and Gallery in Dwight, ON.
More information is available.

Information About the Galleries

All work displayed in the on-line galleries is currently for sale and is ready to hang.
If the description for a painting says “framed size”, it means that the art is matted
and framed (which can add several inches to the actual size of the painting).
